It’s holiday party season and one of the biggest charitable events of the season in Las Vegas is taking over the Pearl Theater at the Palms this week. Mondays Dark is celebrating its sixth anniversary and raising $1 million for dozens of different local nonprofit groups with a big bash at the Pearl on December 9, and Brock is chatting with its creator and host Mark Shunock on this episode of the Sun on the Strip.

And in the news this week, the annual National Finals Rodeo is back and bringing plenty of country music acts to the Strip, including Shania Twain’s new residency at Planet Hollywood. Amazon’s Intersect Festival is open to the public for the first time this weekend at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
